Invasive-Plant Control

Invasive plants can spread beyond the original problem area and make normal maintenance more difficult. Early treatment can keep a manageable issue from becoming a larger project.

We begin by identifying the target species and determining how much of the site is affected. We look at plant density and growth stage. We also review access and nearby sensitive areas. Common concerns may include cogongrass, Chinese tallow, kudzu and privet.

Once the treatment area is defined, we complete the work using methods suited to the plant and the property. That may include cutting, mowing, mechanical treatment or herbicide application. Established infestations often need follow-up treatment. We can map affected areas and track progress over time.
